In honor of Bad Poetry Day, I am throwing
out the first mal-poesy.

How badly can you do?

THE SLOW CLIENT BLUES

The time is near
to finish all returns,
to send them to our clients dear
and allay all their concerns

It only took them 7 long months
while we stack files and sat on our buns,
waiting, waiting for clients to-do lists
to be do'd while we clenched our fists.

Finally, finally, the simple return
missing only the interest is done
and we have time to burn
and go out and have so fun!
